Ms. McConnell is an associate with the Firm.  Her current practice concentrates on medical malpractice defense and appellate litigation.  Ms. McConnell represents physicians, hospitals, nurses and health care facilities at the trial and appellate level in cases alleging medical negligence.  She has experience with all phases of fact and expert discovery, motions practice, defending and deposing expert witnesses, bench and jury trials, and appeals before the Delaware Supreme Court and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.  Prior to joining Wharton Levin Ehrmantraut & Klein, Ms. McConnell primarily defended railroad companies, product manufacturers, and individuals against personal injury, wrongful death and product liability claims in state and federal courts.  She also has experience defending manufacturers in asbestos and benzene litigation and frequently counsels insurance carriers on coverage matters and best practices.

Ms. McConnell received her B.A. from Franklin and Marshall College in 2004 and obtained her J.D. from Villanova University in 2007.  In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. McConnell acted as a clerk to Special Master, B. Wilson Redfearn on complex commercial and intellectual property cases from 2008 to 2011.

Ms. McConnell is a member of the Delaware State Bar and is admitted to practice before the Delaware Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court in Delaware, and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
