Mr. Taylor is a Firm Shareholder and experienced trial lawyer with a diverse practice that includes defending health care professionals, hospitals and related health care organizations in medical negligence actions in state and federal courts. Mr. Taylor’s practice also focuses on products liability defense, commercial litigation and insurance coverage. In addition, he represents health care providers before state licensing authorities in disciplinary actions and investigations.

After graduating from the State University of New York at Binghamton, in 1991, Mr. Taylor attended The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, in Washington, D.C. where he earned his J.D. degree in 1995. Thereafter, Mr. Taylor clerked for the Honorable Anne O’Regan Keary in the Superior Court for The District of Columbia. After his clerkship, he worked for the D.C. office of Wall Street firm, primarily handling complex civil and criminal litigation and regulatory matters. Mr. Taylor then joined a regional firm handling all aspects of civil litigation defense and trial work before joining Wharton Levin in 2024.

Mr. Taylor is admitted to the Bars of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. In addition, Mr. Taylor is a member of the Maryland State Bar, the District of Columbia Bar, the New York State Bar, and the Rhode Island State Bar. Mr. Taylor is a member of the D.C. Defense Lawyers’ Association and DRI.
